Do I need to fire my current bookkeeper?
Yes — we replace your current bookkeeper with a DSP-specialized one. Generalist bookkeepers can't build the per-route KPIs you need, because your chart of accounts and cost allocations have to be set up specifically for DSP operations, settlement accounting, and driver payroll structures. Half-measures don't work here.
What payroll systems do you support?
Gusto, ADP Run, Paychex Flex, QuickBooks Payroll, and Paylocity out of the box. Anything that exports to CSV works. If your provider isn't listed, we'll confirm compatibility during the 15-minute onboarding call.
How do you get route-level data from Amazon?
We pull your weekly Amazon Logistics settlement reports and match them against your QBO revenue. Route-level operational data comes from your daily dispatch manifests — we'll walk you through the two-minute export process on day one. You never have to give us your Amazon login credentials.
Is DSP Scoreboard affiliated with Amazon?
No. DSP Scoreboard is an independent bookkeeping and analytics service operated by 92 Accountants. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries. "DSP" in our name refers to the industry category, not to any Amazon program branding.
How secure is my financial data?
Read-only OAuth access wherever supported (QBO, Gusto). All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We're on a SOC 2 Type I roadmap. Happy to sign an NDA before any audit. We never sell, share, or benchmark your data without explicit written consent.
What if I cancel?
Cancel any time — no annual lock-ins. Your QBO file is in your own Intuit account, never ours. We provide a clean 30-day handoff with a final closing package so a new bookkeeper can pick up without missing a beat.
How long does onboarding really take?
Seven days from signed agreement to first live scoreboard. Day 1 is the 15-minute onboarding call. Days 2–5 are reconciliation, chart of accounts migration, and feed connection. Day 6 is QA. Day 7 your first Monday scoreboard hits your inbox. No "we'll have it ready in 60 days" games.
My books are a mess. Can you still help?
Yes. Catch-up bookkeeping for up to 90 days of back-work is included free for beta customers. If you have more than 90 days of cleanup, we quote it separately and roll it into month one at cost. We've inherited some seriously tangled books — we have a process.
Amazon DSP CPA vs bookkeeper — what's the difference and which do I need?
A CPA files your taxes once a year and usually sends you a P&L 45+ days after the quarter closes. A DSP bookkeeper closes your books weekly, reconciles Amazon Logistics settlement reports against QuickBooks, catches payroll leakage before it compounds, and delivers route-level profit visibility. Most Amazon DSPs need both — but the bookkeeper is what keeps the business profitable between tax seasons. A generalist CPA without DSP experience can't build the per-route KPIs or catch rescue-pay anomalies because DSP chart of accounts, driver payroll structures, and Amazon settlement formats require specialized setup. We partner with your existing CPA — we don't replace them.
